Why did you decide to run for the Associated Students’ Government?
(I decided) to seek re-election because I want to continue involvement within the university and representation for the students.
What changes would you like to see at Colorado State University-Pueblo?
I want to see student come together more to work on projects and I would also like to see more input into how the university changes.
How do you or your party plan on carrying out these changes?
(We will) through talking and getting more input from students as well as conveying that to administration.
In one sentence explain why students should vote for you.
Students should vote for me because throughout this past year, I have worked extremely hard to give a voice to the students (such as being on various committees that have significant impact like the student fee governing board) and I will continue to do so in the next year.

What was the most significant change you made or were involved in making during your
time in ASG?
The change I’m involved in right now, working with Dean Roy Sonemma to implement a Dean’s Advisory Council.
What has being involved with the ASG taught you and how can you apply that knowledge to this term?
Being in ASG has taught me to continue to work hard through obstacles and what matters to the student body is most important. I can apply that knowledge to this term by continuing to advocate for students and making the university constantly improve.

Why did you decide to run for the Associated Students’ Government?
I decided to run for the Associated Students’ Government because I have been involved in it for two years, which I really enjoyed. I feel that ASG is capable of making a big impact on campus and I would like to continue being part of that.
What changes would you like to see at Colorado State University-Pueblo?
I would like to see more student involvement, more school spirit and a better student life at CSU-Pueblo.
How do you or your party plan on carrying out these changes?
One of the main goals of the Revamp platform is to increase campus security. We will facilitate conversations with local emergency organizations in the community and inform students about emergency procedures and policies. This will make the (students) feel safer on campus, thus engaging the students to be involved and ensuring their success.
In one sentence explain why students should vote for you.
I am experienced, knowledgeable about student issues and have proven ability to set the environment of student empowerment.
Returning ASG Members
What was the most significant change you have made or were involved in making during your time in ASG?
I worked with the Student Organizations Team to implement the use of OrgSync in our student organizations at CSU-Pueblo. With OrgSync, students will be able to find more information about campus organizations a lot easier, while the organizations will be able to communicate with students and other organizations with less difficulty, as well. I feel that by being able to communicate and finding more information, students will be more drawn to campus involvement.
What has being involved with ASG taught you and how can you apply that knowledge to this term?
By being involved in ASG, I have learned about teamwork and group dynamics which will enable me to express my views and empower the students to be active on campus.
