More dining options are unveiled at Colorado State University-Pueblo. as Chartwell’s Dining Services opened The Bistro, a new student dining area on the main level of Culebra Hall, on Aug. 23.
The Bistro offers a smaller, cafe-style setting for students, as well as serving as an alternative to the main cafeteria and La Cantina in the Occhiato University Center. The Bistro offers traditional campus dining options: sandwiches, breakfast burritos and grab-and-go items as well as the addition of Little Caesar’s Pizza and Solar Roast Coffee to the menu.
Students can make purchases at The Bistro with their ThunderCard, which is subtracted from their Flex Points. Cash and credit cards are also accepted; however there is a slight discount if the ThunderCard is used, depending on the item purchased.
Simon Budisavljevic, freshman English major at CSU-Pueblo, said “the coffee is great, and it’s nice to have for my early morning classes,”
“I like the calm atmosphere,” Budisavljevic, 19, said. “It’s a nice escape before class.”
