Lesley Di Mare was voted president of CSU-Pueblo unanimously by the Board of Governors this morning.
DiMare, the current interim president of Nevada State College in Henderson, Nev., is said to have been “extraordinarily good at understanding the mission of CSU-Pueblo,” said one search commitee member.
Board Members have yet to negotiate a deal with DiMare and said they were going to make a series of phone calls during a brief intermission of their meeting.
Story to follow.

Apparently the new president prefers a particular spelling as well, as is printed on her resume.

The TODAY news operation is not a paper…it’s an online website…

Spelling is crucial for journalism. Our new presidents name is Leslie not Lesley. Lol. Paper sucks.

There are multiple ways to spell Lesley, and our school’s website, as well as the Chieftain, used “Lesley,” not “Leslie.”
