More excitement has been added to the opening of the new Student Recreation Center as it has won Bronze Hard Hat Award in the Best Colorado Projects of 2008 by Colorado Construction. The design for the rec center was created by Christopher Carvell.
In order to win the award, the rec center had to meet the criteria of “design quality and innovation, craftsmanship, the project’s contribution to the community and the industry, solution of unique design and construction challenges, and overall excellence.”
