The ThunderWolves had another off night Saturday when they faced Chadron State College, falling in four sets to the Eagles.
Despite standout nights from sophomore’s Janae Heiser and Alea Wildman, who logged 20 and 17 kills respectively, the difference was the Pack’s inability to close out close sets, as the Eagles converted more big points when it counted.
No set was won by more than three points, as Chadron prevailed 25-22, 23-25, 25-23 and 26-24 over Colorado State University-Pueblo.
Errors also doomed the Pack, as CSU-Pueblo committed 29 attack errors to just 16 errors by Chadron.
The Pack will continue on its road trip next weekend when it faces the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Thursday before travelling to Golden to take on the Colorado School of Mines.
