Colorado State University-Pueblo will host its annual Dining for Success Etiquette Dinner Nov. 10, from 5.30-9 p.m. at the Pueblo Country Club located at 3200 8th Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado.

Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are invited to attend. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis and are required.

Students can engulf themselves in the knowledge of networking skills taught by Christopher Turner and Chad Heberly. Students will be given the skills to help prepare them for future dinners in a professional setting.

Dr. Jaki Taggart will lead attendees through an interactive “do’s and don’ts” presentation. Students will be able to answer questions about proper dinner etiquette and have a chance to win prizes. Each course will be a training session.

The evening will begin with a networking session where students can engage with one another and with community leaders.

Community leaders in attendance include Pueblo District Attorney Jeff Chostner and Darrin Smith, vice president of human resources for Parkview Medical Center. They will be sharing their experiences and helping students to build connections.

Dinner service will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. Professional business attire is required.

According to the career center, an information packet is available to those looking for more information, such as appropriate attire. Those interested in attending must RSVP by calling the reservation line 719.549.2583. Spots are limited. The event is free, but a $25 cancellation fee will be charged for no show.
