The Career Center is one of the many resources at CSU Pueblo that connects students with their goals after graduation. The center offers a variety of services and resources to help students obtain internships and employment, before and after graduation.
From templates for resumes, to connecting students with their future employers, the center helps prepare students for a professional presence, encouraging their success beyond the university.
One of the resources it offers is the career closet, providing students with free business attire to prepare them for interviews or other professional events they may be attending.
The JCPenny Suit-Up event is hosted by the Career Center annually. Students can receive up to 45% off of business clothing and other opportunities for affordable attire. This year it will take place from 3-6 p.m. Feb 23 just in time for students to prepare for the annual Spring 2025 Career Fair, which will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 5.
“We will have over 70 employers attending …,” Shantel Frazier, assistant director of the Career Center, said.
Students can learn more about the Career Center by checking out its social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram @csupueblocareercenter, or stopping by the office on the third floor of the library.
