The 2025 Grad Fair wrapped up this evening at the Occhiato Student Center after hosting a series of booths offering available resources for seniors graduating. The Grad Fair took place March 18 and March 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Students were able to reserve tickets for the upcoming commencement ceremony that will take place on May 17. They also purchased their caps and gowns and had a chance to take graduation photos as well as browse through class rings.
One of the organizations present at the Grad Fair included the CSU Pueblo Alumni Association. Daniel Minich, director of alumni relations and engagement and an alumnus of the university, spoke with The Today about the special chord offerings.
“If we have students whose parent or grandparent attended, they are eligible for a legacy chord,” Minich said.
The other chord being offered through the Alumni Association in partnership with the CSU Pueblo Foundation is the philanthropy chord. Students can get a blue and white philanthropy chord with a $25 donation to a cause of their choice.
