The Pueblo Riverwalk is hosting the 12th annual Boats, Bands and Barbeque this Friday June 8 and Saturday, June 9.
The event starts at 5 P.M. through 10 P.M. on Friday and 10 A.M. through 11 P.M. on Saturday.
Friday, Sarah Wood will be performing from 5-7 P.M. and later The Martini Shot will be performing from 7 P.M. until 10 P.M.
Saturday, bands such as Bump City Band, Gypsy Groove, Highland Underground and Overton Road will be performing throughout the day.
The event is going to have Excursion Boat rides and Pedal Boat rides for people of all ages.
“We expect there to be a lot of people this year and great entertainment for everyone,” said Sean MacIndoe, Boat Operations Manager of the Pueblo Riverwalk.
Children can expect to see various character pedal boats ranging from a dragon, swan and a flamingo. The boat tours will cost $5 for adults, $4 for senior or military discount and $3 for children ages four through twelve.
There will be barbeque competitions where several judges will taste the food and a winner will be selected for the best barbeque at the event. The vendors are set up on Grand Avenue.
Tickets are $3 per adult and children ages 4-12 are $1. Children three years of age and under will be let in for free at the gate.
