What has been your greatest success in writing? (Personal writing, collaborative writing, completing a project or book, etc.): In middle school, I wrote a paper called “A Hero’s Journey,” where I made up a character and a story to go with it. It turned into 16 pages.
What do you struggle with in writing and how do you tackle that challenge? Getting the ideas onto paper. If I have an idea, I write it down immediately. And during my active writing mode at the computer, I take “mental” breaks to get fresh ideas.
What’s your favorite book of all time? Author? “Bud, Not Buddy” or “Do Androids Dream Electric Sheep?”
What are you currently reading? Author? “Animal Farm” by George Orwell
What’s your favorite guilty reading pleasure, an easy, “beach” read? Fantasy/alternate reality
Do you have a favorite word or quotation and who is the author? “Give me one firm spot on which to stand, and I will move the Earth.” — Archimedes
