The CSU-Pueblo Black Student Organization along with the Greek Council is hosting a dance party Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008.
The dance’s feel will be a sort of “club scene” for all students. The name of the dance is The Spot, and students must wear black and white to get it.
The majority of the music will be hip-hop. There will be mock cocktails, a live DJ and a performance by the Soul Steppers.
The Spot will be free of charge to all students.
The BSO was charted $1,700 for the event and plans to spend $700 on decorations alone.
Set-up for the dance will take place Thursday from noon until 8 p.m. Volunteer hours will be given to students who participate.
Look for flyers around campus as well as on this week’s royal flush for more information.
For more information or decoration ideas contact President Arrica Gilmer at 720-254-5515, or Vice President Laurie Pierce at 719-369-7490.
