Catholic Campus Ministry at CSU-Pueblo will sponsor a discussion titled “School Shootings and Other Bad Things: How to Find God Through Tragedy.” The event is scheduled for April 4, beginning at 6 p.m. at Angelo’s Pizza Parlor, 1110 W. Hwy. 50 in Pueblo.
The event is part of the Theology on Tap program, a national Catholic program that provides a forum for young adults to learn about and discuss their faith in a relaxed setting.
The event will feature Ben Schumann, a Columbine survivor from Denver who has been working as a minister and who has spoken to students in several places including the Virginia Tech.
Schumann will share his experiences with the Columbine shooting, including how he moved on, what he learned about it and how it changed his life.
Young adults of any religion, aged 21-35, are invited to attend the event. Call Janelle at 671-7276 for additional information.
