On Feb. 26, #4 Colorado State University (CSU) Pueblo took on #1 Fort Lewis in the regular season Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) tournament.
History Made
The CSU Pueblo Thunderwolves put on a performance that was nothing short of dominant, outscoring the Fort Lewis Skyhawks by 14 in the first half, and by 7 in the second half. The Pack extended their win streak to 7 games, helping lock up the first RMAC Tournament home game at Massari Arena since the 2016-17 season, which will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd @ 7pm. Their 7 game win streak is the longest since the 2014-15 season.
First year Head Coach Zach Ruebesam, became the first head coach in Pack history to record 20 wins in their first season. To note how historical this season is, this is only the 7th time the Pack has had a 20 win season since 1963.

The scoring was led by Chick Fil A Player of the Week Redshirt Junior Jaden Kennis, who put up 19 points in 23 minutes on 50% shooting from the field, while shooting 100% from the free throw line. The other top scorers were Junior Dylan Sanders (16 points, .625%), Sophomore Jordan Blair (10 points, .500%), Freshman Bryce Riehl (9 points, .500%), and Redshirt Sophomore Ty Adam (8 points) who didn’t miss one single shot.
Sr. Sam Howery, showed why he is a true point guard, putting up both a career and game high 7 assists, which helped orchestrate the Thunderwolves finishing with a season high 28 assists in one game on 29 made field goals.
