Gov. John Hickenlooper on Friday penned his signature to SB 11-204 allowing CSU-Pueblo to add the first-ever doctorate program, a doctorate of nursing practice degree, to its curriculum. An advanced-level practice degree, the DNP concentrates chiefly on the clinical facets of nursing. Julio Leon, interim president of CSU-Pueblo (left), Joe Blake, chancellor of the CSU System (right) and state legislators witnessed the signing held in the Library and Academic Resources Center.
