The first game started off slow as ball coverage was lacking by the ThunderWolves. They struggled through and ended up losing game one 16-25.

Early in the second game, the lady ThunderWolves pulled out of their slump and showed more hustle than they did in the first game. The Grizzlies were made up of a team of hard hitters. The ThunderWolves stepped it up by not letting the hitters beat them. In a total turnaround from the first game, 25-16 was the final score in the second game.

The second game would be the only one the ThunderWolves would win against the Grizzlies.

Game three was a close game from the start, and was consistent in being a one to two point difference throughout the game. The ThunderWolves kept their momentum but it was not enough to keep the Grizzlies down.

Senior Bernadette Pitre threw down a kill to bring the score to a nail biting 23-24, but the Grizzlies were able to pull out the final point they needed to win the game 25-23.

Early in the fourth game the ThunderWolves started losing their ground until Pitre hit a kill that put CSU-Pueblo on the board, with a score of 1-4. After some tough battles, the ThunderWolves started closing in with a score of 10-13, but the Grizzlies wouldn’t be denied. They ended up winning the match 25-21.

Senior Alea Wildman helped out her CSU-Pueblo by having 11 kills, while Pitre had 14. Freshman Sierra Moran also added 10 kills and 14 digs to her stats against the Grizzlies.
