The 18th annual Christmas Parade of Lights followed its usual route when it wound through the Union Avenue Historic District and Downtown Pueblo on Nov. 29. Colorado State University-Pueblo President Joe Garcia and Pueblo Community College President J.D. Garvin served as co-grand marshals of the parade.
The two presidents were being honored in celebration of the 75th anniversary of higher education in Pueblo.
The holiday event began at 6 p.m. on the Mesa Junction, at the corner of Colorado and Abriendo avenues. It traveled on Union Avenue to Court Street, and then ended in front of Pueblo Bank & Trust at 6th and Court streets.
