Parking tickets and the price of a parking permit are being refunded to some students who live in the University Village Walking Stick dormitory at Colorado State University-Pueblo.
Parking lots W-5 and W-6 are no longer being patrolled by the CSU-Pueblo Parking Operations Office. Instead they will be patrolled by the City of Pueblo Police Departments and tickets will be issued by those departments.
The Parking Operations Office will repay students who have previously paid tickets received in lots W-5 and W-6 in the fall semester. The money will be transferred into their student accounts.
They will also refund the price of parking permits required by the school.
In order to receive the previously paid ticket money, students must visit the Parking Operations Office located in CSU-Pueblo’s administration building.
Only tickets that were received for parking without a permit will be reimbursed. Students must also provide their personal identification number.
Students must remove their sticker or hanging tag and bring it into the Parking Operations Office in order to be refunded parking pass money.
Those living in Walking Stick dormitory need to display a parking pass required by the privately run apartments in their vehicles in order to avoid tickets and fines from the city.
For students who wish to park in other lots on campus, the regular student parking pass will also be required or the Parking Operations Office will issue a ticket.
