Western attire and blue ticket stubs worth up to $10,000 describe “Casino Night,” one of the many events during this year’s Homecoming week at Colorado State University-Pueblo.
Students could try their luck at craps or roulette, sit down for a game of poker or blackjack, or play bingo, to bring their money total up, or down, for a chance to enter one of the four prize categories.
Category 2 featured the same idea of kits, but contained more expensive items. Prizes included a “creating memories kit”, “let it snow kit” complete with a large, red blanket, a “study kit”, a “sports kit” containing various sporting items such as basketballs and footballs, and a “dart board kit.”
The final category, category 4, had only three prizes and even fewer possible winners. Prizes included an iPod Shuffle, a portable DVD player, and a Nintendo DS. The prizes in this category alone total over $350.
