Did you know that CSU Pueblo has a program for students, faculty and community members? Well, CSU Pueblo does. They have a program called Outdoor Pursuits (OP), and it is a program that organizes outdoor activities as well as offers equipment rentals.
There is a limit to how much equipment is located at the ThunderWolf Recreation Center, so everything is first come, first served. Getting access to all this equipment is relatively easy too. First, the fee per semester is $40 for students, $60 for faculty and alumni and $80 for community members. Once a member, there is a one-time fee per item, and they are as follows: $15 for students, $25 for faculty and alumni and $35 for community members.
See the table below for a list of all the prices and rentals.

Also, through this program, high rope elements, Challenge Course, at the height of 30-45 feet, are available to be scheduled for groups. These elements include but are not exclusive to zip lines, a giant ladder and a broken bridge. Many other elements are available that don’t have heights, including but not exclusively trust falls off three and 5.5-foot platforms, two separate climbing walls 12 and 8 feet, and much more.
At the Recreation Center, a Rock-Climbing Wall can also be accessed with the active membership using a campus ID, or a day pass can be purchased for 7$.
All of these amenities can be accessed through the ThunderWolf Recreation Center. Registration for the various events and the Challenge Course can be scheduled on the CSU Pueblo website in the “campus life” tab on the homepage under ThunderWolf Recreation.
