The Bluegrass by the River Festival is finally here, June 4-6 the festival is in its 21st year, taking its usual spot at the Nature and Raptor Center in Pueblo.
The Bluegrass on the River Festival hosts regional bands, over 20, in concurrence with an arts and crafts fair provided by local vendors. Set on the banks of the Arkansas River, the festival will commence with camping on the grounds for $35 for the weekend.
Entertainment includes bands such as Fireweed, Palmer Divide and Sons & Brothers over the weekend, as well as nature activities and awareness starting at 7 p.m. on Friday. All day Saturday and Sunday, the festival will continue with bands, The Chapmans of Missouri and Blue Pepper Trio.
The event is sponsored by KCCY 98.6 FM and all proceeds from the festival will go towards the Nature and Raptor Center in Pueblo.
Admission varies by dates. Children six and under are free. Pets and personal alcohol will not be permitted on the grounds during the festival. For more information or the complete festival schedule, call 719-549-2414 or visit gncp.org.

Children 6 and younger are free.
