    Sleep can improve your day

Did you know that getting a good night’s sleep is considered a health tip? According to the Division of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School getting enough sleep is very important. When there’s not enough sleep we become tired leaving not enough neurons to fire up through the body, which leads us to experience physical problems including our health. In a recent study at British Columbia, participants who encounter less than five hours of sleep are more at risk at receiving heart disease than those who sleep eight hours or more.

So remember, in order to get a good night’s sleep try cutting your caffeine in half and don’t eat a heavy meal right before bedtime. Sleeping less during the day can also benefit you. If sleep is called for during the day be sure to take a “cat nap” instead of two-hour nap.
