In this video editor Gabryelle Martinez sit down with Dean of Hasan School of Business (HSB) Ali Ashraf to discuss the journey leading up to this role at CSU Pueblo, and how he hopes to support the student body while he is here.
Ashraf was born and raised in Bangladesh, a country that places tremendous value in education. He has been involved with higher education for 13 years, spending the majority of that time at Frostburg State University in Maryland.
Ashraf was attracted to the drive and the cutting-edge curriculum at HSB and welcomed the opportunity to join in. He hopes to help HSB gain more of a public presence and share the achievements of students and staff at the college with the rest of the community.
“Our professors are doing amazing things in the classroom and beyond. We could speak more to that work and to the students’ success more,” Ashraf said.
