In this video editor Gabryelle Martinez sat down with Dr. Kristine Morris to hear of her story leading up her role at CSU Pueblo and what she is prioritizing as a leader of the School of Nursing.
Morris came to Colorado after 23 years in Dallas Texas, where she raised her family, and spent 17 years in leading higher education. Ready for a change, she was happy to pursue the opening at CSU Pueblo
“I have teased for years that I wanted to live in a smaller town, in a big old house, but I still wanted Amazon same day delivery,” she said jokingly.
Morris is stepping in after a period of turnover in leadership. She compliments how well the program did navigating those times and hopes to support and encourage consistent growth at the School of Nursing continuing forward.
